Welsh Corgi League Privacy Notice

 

The Welsh Corgi League (“The League”) is an association of enthusiasts committed to maintaining the Welsh Corgi (Pembroke) Breed. The website contains many useful areas of information for the public and for members. Members have the option to voluntarily sign up to the site by providing their contact details.

 

What Information do we collect about you?

 

We collect information about you when you register with us or place an order for products or services. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete contact forms, provide feedback and participate in the forum and puppy finder. Website usage information is collected using cookies. 

 

When you become a member of the League you supply your name, address and contact details. This can be done by post or via the Store.

 

How will we use the information we have collected?

 

We collect information about you to process your order, manage your account and, if you agree, to email you about League matters we think may be of interest to you. 
 

We will not pass your information onto any other party outside of the League. 

 

If you use the ‘Contact Simon’ form, then we only transmit the information you have voluntarily supplied to Simon Parsons (wortencottage@hotmail.co.uk).

 

The League will not share your information for marketing purposes with companies outside of the League.

 

The League do not collect your payment details when you use out online shop, these details are controlled by our e-commerce partner wix.com; we only receive confirmation of whether you have paid or not.

 

Membership information supplied via the website or via other channels to the League are used to confirm access to the member only areas of the website.

Nothing on this site is the view of the Welsh Corgi League unless explicitly stated. 

 

Any reference material on this site should be used as a guide only unless it has been confirmed with the Executive Committee that it is accurate. 

 

Except where expressly stated to the contrary, all intellectual property rights in the text, graphics, information, motifs, logos, designs and databases contained in this site including the domain names, organisation and layout of the site and the software used in relation to the site are owned by the League or its licensors.

 

Any posts or comments on any ‘blog’ article or forum is the view of that person and not that of the League. Any abuse of the blog or forum system will result in immediate withdrawal from the site for that member or user. 

 

The ‘find a puppy’ feature has been added as a tool to allow League members to add their litters for sale. The League holds records of all adverts created and monitors submissions for abuse. The League does not endorse any litter advertised using this service and expects all members using the service to abide by Kennel Club rules when breeding, registering litters and selling dogs. 

 

We aim to update the Website regularly, and may change the content at any time. If the need arises, we may suspend access to the Website, or close it indefinitely.

 

The user agrees that material downloaded or otherwise accessed through the use of the Website is obtained entirely at the user's own risk and that the user will be entirely responsible for any resulting damage to software or computer systems and/or any resulting loss of data.
